Hino's Truck Warranty Beats the Competition

When looking at the competition, Hino’s Industrial Truck warranty stands heads and shoulders above the others. But don’t just take it from us--here are the most recent warranty offerings from Isuzu, Fuso, Freightliner and International so see for yourself:

Isuzu - Isuzu offers 3 years/unlimited mileage, but this is a limited warranty, listing that it does not include the alternator, starter motor, water pump, turbocharger, exhaust and intake manifolds, along with the injectors and related lines.

Fuso - Fuso’s warranty is complex and as the years go up, it drops off significantly with 3 years, there’s unlimited mileage coverage; the rust warranty is applicable for 4 years and at 5 years, the warranty only applies to powertrain, emissions control, frame (with limitations on mileage and specific parts).

Freightliner - According to their website, the Freightliner warranty is “the most powerful in the industry,” but when you look at the details, it falls seriously short, especially if you spend a lot of time on the road. With the shortest general coverage term of 12 months, only the engine is covered for up to 5 years/500,000 miles or 7 years/250,000 miles, but with a catch: “Detroit’s engine ESC covers tomorrow’s costs at today’s pricing,” which seems to mean you receive only a discount on services but still will have some upfront costs to pay.

International - No warranty plan is actually included in the purchase of an International truck, but you can buy coverage up to a maximum of 24 months for I-6 engines and 36 months for V8 engines. This just makes us wonder: if you can truly stand behind your product, why isn’t there a warranty automatically included and why is the maximum coverage term so limited?

With Hino, you can be sure that your industrial truck is backed by the best warranty in the business. To learn more about Hino’s premium warranty and service offerings, check out the details here. Ride with confidence that your ride is safe and secure for years to come.
